Updated Altra EGO™ MAX midsole foam is 15% lighter and 10% softer than the previous version, creating a cushioned feel designed to keep legs comfortable through long training days and ultra-distance trail races.
Underfoot, a Vibram® Megagrip outsole with TractionLug™ technology delivers dependable grip, stability, and adaptive traction across wet and dry surfaces. A breathable engineered mesh upper, plusher tongue, and integrated comfort collar enhance comfort, while molded TPU overlays add protection and durability where it matters most.
The Olympus 7 also features Altra's roomiest toe box, providing extra space through the forefoot and midfoot so toes can move more naturally. A zero-drop platform positions the heel and forefoot at the same level to encourage natural movement on the trail.
